Then explain why when they had to replace the EUA authorized rtPCR that they explicitly said it must differentiate between SARS and Influenza A and B?
ILI in CDC data is by way of hospitalization of respiratory disease -- and in February 2020 the CDC stated a higher than average influenza season -- then stopped recording influenza in March 2020 when every thing became CoHoax.
Yes, influenza did not disappear.. it was CoHoax. So was colds, pne, etc.
Influenza-like illness (ILI) is the main indicator used for surveillance of respiratory viruses but RCGP weekly returns service also provide rates for other illnesses such as acute bronchitis, which can be an indicator of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) circulation and pneumonia.
The national influenza surveillance in New Zealand aims at monitoring incidence and distribution of influenza in the community, early detection of influenza epidemics and identifying the predominant circulating strains. The surveillance system includes sentinel general practice (GP) surveillance, laboratory‐based surveillance, hospitalisations and mortality surveillance, and immunisation coverage surveillance.
While "not necessary", the charts do reflect hospitalizations which is used to model totals.. and these hospitalizations are tested, which reflects on why "influenza and pneumonia" were 46% of comorbidities to CoHoax.
The issue is that influenza testing can be achieved and thus why when scaled up testing for CoHoax occurred, influenza results were relabled CoHoax "and".
CoVID does not exist. Ayh also struggle to accept that 5 strains of influenza and several other viral respiratory infections exist as defined.
come on, we've done the influenza disappeared thing
influenza is not diagnosed, it is inferred from other pathologies such as pneumonia

I don't need to explain that to demonstate that flu cases are not determined through definitive diagnosis because flu is not a notifiable disease.
Thus the methods used in this process were disrupted by whatever Covid was.

Notice the phrase "whatever covid was". Neither of us know for sure.
