Pasteurization does actually destroy all enveloped and non-enveloped viruses, including H5N1/H7N9 and the like.

Aym not convinced they believe illness is a viable direction to them right now. They have to keep stirring the pot on disease but until

disease xyz has been now spotted in 120 countries over night

sort of media hysteria, then its just status quo for now. They would run local only and doubt they would leverage it beginning to flourish in America. They prefer using harder to prove origin locations.
