comfort and convenience over conscience; though many people have legit fears about how rocking the boat would effect their responsibilities towards their families.
NPC's/"people" are also scared and looking for the familiar to hang onto, which, in this case, is the bullshit spin/narrative (((those))) who've been lying to us for the past 50+ years have been schpewing out.
