Why would a statistic minded person, like hitler do the following:
Build massive camps, train rails, an entire infrastructure, infirmaries, nurseries, pools, dormitories, delousing facilities ('gas chambers'). Then ship all the jews to these facilities, and clothe them, keep them for a while, serial number everyone, and then put them into ovens and gas chambers at tremendous expense?
Why not:
Round up jews, take them ten miles out of town. Make them dig a massive hole. Shoot each one in the head with a $.03 cent bullet. cover hole.
Even if we were to believe the silly ass six million number, it would cost less that 200K to kill them all with bullets.
Before detaining the jews (and a lot of other non-jews, lest we forget), he made it clear that all jews should leave germany. He then invited every first world country inviting them to take part in the "evian conference", where he asked them to take the jews.
