One detail is that the team was given "slap packs" in case any Americans were killed in Cambodia. These seemed to be something like packs of napalm. Put on a body and set alight, it would be burned beyond recognition. Having seen some video out of Ukraine of bodies burned just in the normal course of battle, there can be little to work with even if you have a mind to.
On an unrelated note, Nixon personally ordered that the team of 13 Americans were, um, not to survive the mission. Changed my view of him somewhat.
