it really depends on the sect and family. most of my Jewish friends I would not even know they were Jewish unless they invited me to their bar mitzvah when I was young. much like christians, muslims, hindi, and buddhists, agnostics, and atheists, they are perfectly capable of being normal people. ignoring your hypotheticals about people you've never met, if there's one thing I've learned about people, it's that they do not fit in boxes. to treat an individual of any kind like everyone else in the box they supposedly fit in would be to deny that individual their humanity. it would also make you factually incorrect about that person at least 50% of time.
