However, most societies across the world, have a support system that includes more than just a nuclear family. And it is common to stay at home /within the family until marriage.... even beyond marriage in many cases.

Even in western society, staying with family was normal. For example, Italians, although they are Europeans and not Anglos, they stay at home. During poverty stricken days of old, white people would bunk together.

1. in the olden days, when boomers were going out into the world, it was possible to get a great paying job with only high school education or less. You could buy a house in the suburbs, have a SAH wife, kids, vacation, boat, RV, 2 cars, etc.

That is no longer possible. Too many immigrants, too much education (hundreds of thousands of dollars) required, many more years delay getting into debt before you start marking money.

2. in christendom, usury, charging interest on loans would send you to hell. Even today, jews and Muslims being much more intelligent, future oriented, and compassionate, are not supposed to charge interest to their own group.

Boomers et al, deposited being given the greatest prosperity the world has ever known, still decided to rack up trillions of dollars of debt and said fuck it, the kids and grandkids can pay for my midlife crisis.

Those loans have interest being charged on them, as well.

3. boomers decided to sell out their country, their ancestors and all their descendants for a little extra cash and sent all the manufacturers etc jobs offshore so that other people could become slaves and the traditional enemies could prosper from hundreds of years of western research and development. Who care that the British had to bankrupt their entire country in order to stop slavery. Americans will restart it! After all, the boomers need to get theirs, fuck everyone else.

4. next, the boomers decided to stay perpetual children and forget about parenting their kids or teaching them lessons learned over the generations. They pawned them off on schools and were ok with school being useless. Were ok with the end of the Civil society and knowledge of the Declaration of Independence. That didn't have time for important boring BS, they needed to go on vacations, cruises, casinos, ayce buffets, they needed to show off to their friends and run across the world playing Lady Bountiful.

When stuff went bad, they would kick the can of accountability to the next generation.

They would blame millennial for ruining everything and putting stores out of business.

The boomers probably are the worst generation (other than the greatest generation that created them) to ever exist. And I think a lost of people will be having schadenfreude when the boomers are stuffed in questionable old age homes or on the streets with no one to care about them.

In other cultures, that wouldn't happen because they develop familial bonds and everyone helps each other.
