Really good doc, mostly focuses around Japan. Basically the central bank wanted to restructure the economy, but in order to do that they needed a crisis. So they deliberately printed a tonne of money to create a huge bubble in the economy, land, stocks, real estate all exploded in value. Then they collapsed the bubble to cause the crisis ...
