Funny how nobody would care about it except sightseers and archeologists if they just came out and said "look, new discovery of a sunken town from long ago, pretty neat, right?"
People might understand that the flood of Noah is real, can not have that.
"the flood of Noah" may be real, but I'm not so sure about all of that other shit though..
The flood of Noah was real, but did not cover the entire earth. The Hebrew word "erets" means land or earth. Many times when the bible says the whole earth was covered, it should say the whole land was covered. There are a number of mistranslated words to protect the existing church doctrine of the day. Gentiles should always read nations. Many times those nations were the ten Tribes of Israel. Moon where it should be month, rest where it should read Sabbath, Jew where it should read Judah or Judean and several others. The modern day Jews are not, and have never been, God's Israel people as proven by the bible, history and Jewish writings.
Flood idea was stolen from the epic of Gilgamesh.
We find new unknown settlements and civilizations pretty frequently so there’s not really any reason to believe they’re hiding anything here. Some squared off rocks doesn’t mean it’s definitely man made.
It should be pretty easy to find some sort of pottery or some remnants of something from humans in the area and the fact that they haven’t found anything in the almost 40 years since it was discovered makes me skeptical that there’s any to find.
It’s still possible they might find something in the future, you never know
