Research parallel construction, in which the feds use blatantly illegal methods to gain evidence, and then use that knowledge to figure out where to place a cop so he'll see something that can be used as probable cause to get a warrant for the same evidence "legally". It's nothing but police perjury. It's been known that they do this since at least the Snowden leaks, but naturally, nobody has been or will be prosecuted for these actions.
