I've always heard 2 men didn't have to die in order to reach heaven, Elijah being one of them. When I did a search to kind of double check the top result was from wiki showing an excerpt that says:
The disciples who are with Him hear the voice of God announce that Jesus is "My beloved Son." The disciples also see Moses and Elijah appear and talk with Jesus. This apparently relates to how both Elijah and Moses, the latter according to tradition but not the Bible, both were translated to heaven instead of dying.
Just curious if you knew what they meant by that bold part? Thought it was an interesting response to OP since he's questioning Noah's righteousness but I've heard Elijah was special because of how strong his faith was. Also I could have sworn those 2 people were Elijah and Enoch. Googling this shit is fucking useless. Gotta hit up my local jesusfag because these search results I'm getting are all over the place.
