years ago just out of college i didn't have insurance. had some type of ear infection or flu or something and needed to fill a prescription amoxicillin or penicillin or something. without insurance it was like $3k USD or some outrageous price. stocked up on ivrmctin in 2020 and didn't need a script for it. not sure if you can get penicillin or other without insurance/script these days.
