This is true. Many Christians worship YHWH.
YHWH was an alien God.
Moses promoted the 1 God represented by Jesus to the Hebrews who were worshiping the Volcano they called YWHY. Since the hebrews were having a hard time converting, Moses lied to them saying that God's name is YHWY. It helped. Plus he scared them with threats of punishment. The 1 God (Trinity) or (Elehom for the 3) never require sacrifice. Sacrifice comes mostly from Mystery Cult pagan false gods.
