The healthiest people I know haven't gotten "a flu" in more than 3 decades. I rarely get one, usually once per 5 years or so, and when I do, I do it hard for 3 days and then it's done.
Usually it happens after a hard stressful period, during which I'm not taking care of my sleep/recovery/diet well enough.
Sucks that stress is 99 .3% of the average Americans daily experience. It all has to do with the body and manifestations of the lack of something. They are pretty tight lipped about what that thing is that's missing,.but we can all be certain it isn't a "flu shot'

Stress lowers the vibrations of your cells making them weaker and you become more vulnerable.
