Well they're mostly bots so I would hope you'd win the debate. Twitter and Reddit have manufactured consensus. Not super sure how Twitter handles this outside of jannies shadowbanning and amplifying posts, but on Reddit nothing leaves /new unless it was perfectly curated by bot armies to shape the narrative. That's why ppl got pissed when a random buzzfeed article outed a US military base as being 'the most reddit addicted city' aka glowfag farm. This is why when trump merced the isis leader the only posts allowed to hit the front page were ones without his name in the title and instead called the dead terry an 'Astute scholar'
