These were in air tight pods with suction devices to remove the gas. Frequently the gas froze making it unable to kill the prisoner and the room had to be externally heated until it started evaporating. After the inmate strapped in the chair in a tiny pod was dead the suction device would start sucking the gas out but even then it was unsafe to remove the body for hours afterwards and the removal crew would enter wearing hazmat suits.
California’s infamous green execution chamber which was used for lethal injections after abandoning the gas chamber was in fact a requisitioned gas chamber and was too small to really perform the lethal injection in causing many problems resulting in it being scrapped.
But we’re supposed to believe that what we’re essentially sheds outside in polish winter with no suction devices to expel the gas we’re used to conduct multiple gassings of hundreds of people an hour lol.
I wouldnt compare a machine designed to kill one person compared to something more, industrial.
On top of that, those pesky laws of ours prevent us from using many toxic and lethal substances. I dont know if you are aware, but years ago the company who made the main substance used in lethal injection stopped making it and no one was allowed in the states. So alot of states went back to the electric chair, was even talk of bringing back firing squads.

What in the actual fuck? And yes I know, gas is different than lethal injection but if I had to guess those laws apply to things like Zyklon B. Which is what germany used after using CO originally.

Like I also said before, I do question the numbers, they seem a bit exaggerated, 6 million jews, 5 million others. But do I doubt they killed the disabled or sick, no not really. Knowing that some of these people are evil incarnate, and some are just sociopaths "following orders", I could see it happening, like genocide has happened before, and will likely happen again.
