You commented to the OP who has gone out of their way to point out how terrible the medical industrial complex is in situations like these.

Desoto police helped CPS take the baby from them at their home on March 28.

"[They] unlawfully enter my home to take my baby from me," Temecia said.

But here's an additional problem. The affidavit used to justify CPS taking custody of the child lists the wrong mom. It lists a woman with a completely different name and who has a criminal history of neglect, but who is not Temecia Jackson - the mom who gave birth to Mila.

https://abc7chicago.com/jaundice-newborn-baby-mila-jackson-dallas/13100612/

Edit :

The Jacksons opted to have a licensed midwife, Cheryl Edinbyrd, do an at-home treatment for their newborn because of concerns with the treatment of Black people in the American health care system. Dr. Anand Bhatt, the family’s pediatrician, said the case was severe enough for the newborn to be taken to the hospital for phototherapy, according to a letter he wrote to CPS that was published by WFAA News.

Treatment of black people with a different opinion confirmed.

Our midwife then reached out to the pediatrician, just letting him know that he had traumatized us, that we were woken up by police banging our door at 4 a.m., 5 a.m. Then after she gave him all the credentials he’d requested from her, he pretty much said he was going to leave our care and our midwife teams,” Temecia said at a Thursday press conference organized by the Afiya Center.

Refusing to participate in treatment team because the doctor wasn't the preferred method of care.

The family said everything seemed fine until March 28. Rodney explained that police returned to their home as he was walking the family dog, and they placed him under arrest after he refused to surrender the baby. They took his keys and used them to enter the family’s home. Temecia was in their home alone with Mila and authorities proceeded to take her with an affidavit.

The affidavit with intentional errors aka lies.

You may be a complete idiot, claiming a midwife's knowledge is better than a doctor's knowledge.

Christ I hope you don't have kids because you seem to be a fool. I can see you have a social agenda that overrides rational thought, and an obvious racial issues viewpoint.

I will guess you are actually a liberal, and have a reason for taking a stand on a racial basis in what should be first a medical decision and not a social agenda decision.

This all smells like a liberal or anti-CPS pedo attempt to make a fuss with an agenda goal. This is the wrong site to try that game.

You not only guessed wrong, you need to get off the coin. It's simply a divide, and conquer. Try to keep up with the rest of the class. You're behind on the materials, and you'd rather argue what you don't know then ask questions.

That was the woman in charge of the Zika response team. She specialized in exactly this issue. And, it didn't save her. She also was very important to conspiracy because her death means we may never get answers to some of the topics she was in charge of. When you're done learning what the rest of us have known for years you may want to reread what happened to the family. You're on the wrong site, with the wrong user. Your ignorance is glowing neon bright.

Dude check your understanding of the birthing process.. hospitals put women and babies in danger way more often than home births. Doctors don't have time to study because they are overbooked and consider the CDC the end all be all for their need to know protocols. Did you take the vaccine?

Wow, what a great fraudulent mixing of topics. 'Hey, let's attack by combining the corruption of the CDC with the idea of child protective care saving children from ignorant parents!"

I'll put this to Judge Judy:

Judy: "He's a fucking moron using yet another alt name in this thread."

LOL. This fag downvoted using two of his many alts. Suck it, bozo.

Both are government agencies with histories of abuse of power. I don't see how that is a hard connection for you to process.. also I have just one account. My name is Justin Myers and I live in Virginia. And my understanding and rebuttals are based on sound research and personal experience. Derp 👍

Work on your reading comprehension. Her baby daddy was her boss, and she was doing the same work Dr. Shiva is doing, but she died before we got to see it.

If you don't like my posts block me, and keep it moving. You're blind to the connections. That doesn't mean they aren't there.

It is not standard process in hospitals for women to get extended skin to skin time, have delayed cord clamping, they want to inject newborns with hepatitis B vaccines whether or not the mother has hepatitis b, and they are the ignorant Servants of the controllers as they take the sole of the foot and register the child as a dead entity as to have a person who is a commodity to be registered on the international Stock Exchange. Please don't respond that that is all b******* until you research it yourself. There's a reason that there is a trend in women having home births. Same reason intelligent people don't trust the medical establishment. Same reason cancer cures are covered up and honest practitioners of Medicine who make too many waves are destroyed or murdered. Also it's kind of a red flag that you are questioning Ops politics. This is about freedom of medical choice and family sovereignty not politics.

Despite the paperwork error, the doctor was right, the parents and midwife were wrong, and the kid was in danger due to stupid people. The child had recognizable issue with bilirubin in blood sample, indicating immediate need to treat it properly, not some midwife mumbojumbo peasant bullshit. Invoking CPS probably saved the kid's life. Sure, sometimes CPS gets misused but not all the time.

Michalus, you are rampaging against CPS doing the right thing.

You don't have enough information to know if the parents and midwife were wrong. The article doesn't state the intended treatment method. Only that the doctor demanded the baby be taken to the ER.

You know that urgent care is required by most insurance. By that thought, the baby could have gotten the correct care needed without going to the ER. ( Rx from a different source then demanded) And, be monitored by the midwife rather than the doctor / hospital.

The paperwork error proves they knew they were wrong. They filed the paperwork with the wrong name to flag the file. Prompting the instant removal of the baby. This was bullying. Not allowing a second opinion.

Also you can play this game in reverse to get faster treatment in the ER. Simply check in and tell them that you just got back from traveling to an African country that has an active outbreak of certain diseases.

Edit :

They filed the paperwork using the father as, "alleged father". Meaning this baby was taken away with intentional incorrect paperwork. Now getting the baby back is intentionally difficult.

The Jacksons discovered, on reading the paperwork, that the mother was listed as another woman, who had a criminal history.

Rodney Jackson was described as the ‘alleged father’.

Sorry but no. High bilirubin means the child had liver problems and such needs rapid treatment or it will lead to kidney failure. No amount of peasant attempts to treat it at home by themselves override the need to put the kid on appropriate drugs and further testing to find the source of the problem. It could be liver damage from birth, virus or bacterial infection. Whatever the cause, home remedies are totally wrong approach.

Wrong. The Midwife was properly credentialed, and had the correct equipment. In the links i provided, I have experience with a baby having jaundice due to Rhesus syndrom. That's where the mother is Rh neg, and the baby is Rh pos. My son was under lights I would describe as specialized in the same manner as plant lights are specialized, and was given extra fluids to help flush his system faster.

Your example is also listed in the links provided, and in the UK THE MIDWIFE is also equipped to correct the ailment. You're intentionally using home remedies as if these parents were using onions or garlic. They were using their CREDENTIALED midwife.

You also completely ignored the fact that the doctor who called cps NEVER laid eyes on the baby. A nurse practitioner in the same practice say the baby. I think this could cause them both to lose their license. The paperwork is such a mess that neither actual parent is listed on the paperwork removing the baby from the home.

You clearly didn't review the information I added just for you. Heads up. I tend to read multiple articles on the same topic.

Oh look, someone activated one of their reserve account names.

As for your implicit argument that no matter how stupid a parent's decisions are, even if that threatens the life of a kid, it's okay because, 'it's mah right to endanger a kid!'

I plan to die in agony after getting syphillis from your mom.

As a Catholic, I can see you lack any semblance of christian ideals. A lot of pedos also protest CPS helping protect children from abuse.

Go drink some of your favorite beer, Bud Lite.
