This morning I spent some more time looking at the footage and the shoes and trying to make sense of it.

The first is taken from the first hallway scene where she walks around in circles for a minute before walking through the door on the top left. The second is taken from the next scene after she walks through the door (the scene with the terra-cotta colored tile). The third is, of course, from the shooting scene. I've taken the images and rotated them to orient the shoes, facing right, for comparison purposes.

After looking closely at the screenshots from the footage, and comparing them to the shoe models, it's obvious that the shooting scene shoes match the flame shoes from the gab post, but I no longer think there's any chance that the shoe in the screenshots is the other (Puma) shoe from the gab post. The puma shoes have a rounded white pattern that goes down to the sole, while the screenshots show the same flat front from the flame shoe model.

However, this post is not intended to debunk the theory, because there is something even more fucky about the footage. I don't think the shoe is the puma shoe, but I also think that somebody did modify the footage, and that's where the discrepancy probably came from. In other words, I think the shoes may be different, but they're not the pumas from the gab post, they are something else, entirely, and somebody added to the footage to make them look like the flame shoes.

Take a look at this image, which is just a copy of the first image, with the anomaly that I've seen in multiple frames outlined. Go back to the original of this, the first link above, and look at the perfect rectangle and the drop shadow that appears below that. Maybe I am over thinking this and this is just some kind of video anomaly, but when you consider this evidence with the fact that the outer rubber soles on the shoes have all kinds of shape to them (they are like bumpy), compared to the ones with the flames which are perfectly smooth, it's hard to ignore this.
