This is the kind of softy cope I see with things such as the explanations of why the "Jews" have rejected their God given male bloodline (which is shown to be exclusively male time and time again in the Torah) in favor of their mother's bloodline. "Jews" can't even know for sure that they are actually part of the bloodline covenant at this point and it is clear to anyone who has eyes to see that everything taught in the Talmud is at least some slight perversion of God's actual intentions stated in the Torah, Just look at the Karaites if you want to see people actually trying to follow God's commands from that previous covenant.
