found it while searching for John Thaler on Bitchute.
there Is a Bitchute downloader. its a mozilla add on. it's the only one I found that functions well. it's not like youtube downloaders tho. you have to start the video and then click the downloader widget. It will open a new window with the video playing, then you right click and select "save video as"
