Why would NASA even bother to make a flight model using a flat non rotating earth? If it were so preposterous to even think the earth were flat, what would be their motive to create equations and models for a plane instead of a planet?
But why would you bother with both added complexity as well as only seeing, at most, one side of the sphere? If you tried to do that you would need two separate maps if you wanted to go more than halfway around the planet.
Drawing the earth as a sphere, even though it is one, is needlessly complex for short distances and doesn't even work for long ones.
So that's your argument? People could needlessly complicate things to make perfect representations, but instead use simplified approximations, ergo: everything they say is a lie?
Why wouldn't NASA be meticulous about their mathematics and models? A gov agency with billion of dollars. Cutting corners to go to space, let alone the moon or mars, seems incompetent to me.

Because tables are flat and it's a pain in the ass to file or mail globes?
Is that seriously your argument? Maps are flat, ergo earth is flat?
One can depict a spherical object on a flat piece of paper. Same with mathematical depictions. Hello?
