I know several people who opted not to get it precisely because they had health conditions that would be exasperated by the shot. They also got COVID at some point, just like every covid shot'd individual I know. also like every COVID shot'd individual I know, they're all completely fine.
The two people I know who had complications from COVID had taken the shot. both of them had a resurgence of asthma. The shot seemingly didn't do anything for them.
