Eh, consider that Germans are already using candles to heat their homes. So imagine if temperatures got worse. So maybe the infrastructure is better in Europe but they don’t have enough gas to even flow through the infrastructure. So having that infrastructure isn’t really effective since it’s utilization is being limited.
My point still stands. We have plenty of natgas, and plenty of 50, 60 year old piping. Frigid weather, poor insulation, rampant OSHA violations, and infrastructure older than my parents is not a good combination.
