Liberal twitter went from "what a joke, who'd buy them" to "this is money laundering" in a head spinning way. I've seen people, big names, say the way NFTs are like crypto, that he's selling them to Russians and Chinese. I am fairly sure that it was Trump fanboys, but since this is all private information, unlike campaign donations, I think we have the answer as to at least partially why he did it.
