The Catholic Church is under seige from nihilistic ideologues who want to destroy it. The best way they have of doing this is by pretending to be Catholic and then complaining that the church's teachings don't reflect the way THEY feel.

It's completely insane because nobody is holding a gun to their heads and forcing them to be Catholic, they are free to leave and join another church or start a new one.
