If a target knew what was going down or managed to fight back, resulting in 'officer-down' incidents, how would that be portrayed in today's media? Concerning recent news stories, how would anyone without firsthand knowledge of the suspect or the incident be able to get the word out on what really happened?

Its become common knowledge that this technique is effective. MTG has been swatted multiple times, and these calls almost always come in from the touch tone relay service for deaf people.
The cops clearly know these calls are fake but for some reason still go in like they’re real.
MacAfee knew it was coming and they still got him.
You want to look up what the ATF did to the Branch Davidians at Waco and how the media publicized the proceeding.
Remember Waco quite well. Notice the political affiliation of administration and DOJ when such things go down.
