It's not (((them))) but rather a group of elite. Some of the elite are (((them))), perhaps even a majority. I don't buy into the whole idea that it's just one religion or whatever. Clearly people from other religions have been and are involved. I do however think they are united in a set of common beliefs/rituals which for them supersede their religious beliefs.
