Greetings Conspirators. I was using greatawakening.win and had shared what I thought was some valuable information with the community for many, many months and then I was banned for stating too many unpleasant truths or asking too many questions about DJT. It is super creepy because I tried making a new account over a year later on a different phone but the system still remembers me as a banned user! Is that weird to anyone? I am low tech so I guess they maybe banned by IP address because I don't use a VPN? Anyway, I probably won't stay on this forum because I'm kindof over being censored on the internet but am posting here more than anything just to see if the damn thing posts and if anyone responds to it! Thanks in advance for anyone who bothers to comment. Censorship is absolutely happening on the right, not just on the left.

Yes, mods can ban and then there are 2 other options, "IP ban" stops you from making a new account on the IP you were using, and "Nuke" deletes all your comments and posts on the forum. It's handy for banning spam bots and all their comments at once. It's unfortunate that some use it so casually though.
You may be able to reset your IP address by turning off your router for a period of time, if you're using one, and then turning it back on. This is dependent on your ISP, and the amount of time can vary. Basically you are waiting for that IP address contract to expire due to inactivity, something like that. Some ISP's assign you a permanent IP though. You may also be able to use a browser with tor such as Brave to access the website from a different IP. There are free VPN services too, though I remember them being not so good, but they may have improved.
Thanks so much for the tips! I didn't get the impression that the mods thought I was a bot. I believe they just wanted to protect the forum as a very pro DJT site. I don't remember what it said now but one of the mods messaged me inviting me to recant whatever I had stated but I thought what I said was truthful so I told the mod that I could not retract it and that is when they said good luck to me and banned me.
It was the same experience that I had on Twitter except worse because I didn't think our side was going to engage in that. I always thought that truth wins just by exposure so censorship is really unnecessary unless you're protecting a lie.
It isn't so much that I'm desperate to get back on to that site, although I did feel motivated enough to comment on someone's post today to try to make a new acct. I guess I could go to a library or something too if I try your ideas and can't get them to work. It is more that I'm concerned about the moderation happening on these boards in general that is directing the flow of ideas. In my opinion, it is just as scary to live in a thought controlled authoritarian right wing society as it is to live in a thought controlled authoritarian left wing society. Is that where we are going? I hope not!
The online censorship thing really creeps me out maybe more than any other sick thing that has happened the last couple years which is saying a lot, I think! The technology exists to literally just turn me off from communication with anyone who is not in direct proximity to me. Not just via online forums like this, but emails, text messages, maybe all except phone calls can be intercepted based on key words and prevented from delivery. That seems like bad news for everyone except for the person who wants to control the narrative. Has anyone on this forum talked about the AI and censorship issue that you've seen lately?
Now THAT is interesting. My phone is remembering me on the acct I just tried to set up at GA.win whereas my computer, where I made my OP, recognized me as the tell the truth acct. Anyway. It is still me. Just so weirded out by this tech stuff it makes me want to give up my phone and computer and everything and go back to using the Encyclopedia Britannica or figuring it out myself if I really need to know it!
Read a variety of old books. Unless you trusts the brits.
Archive.org and the bin behind the library.
Great points!
