Sonar works by generating pings and listening for the reflected sounds.
That works without need for a globe, so I'm not sure what I'm missing.
Is it was empty space....sure. but it's not. The air is fluid...we just don't see it. But it is still a fluid.
To make it more clear. It would require the earth to slow down or speed up it's spin in a relatively quick timeframe for us to notice. The momentum would be steady state on the surface and near surface of the earth..
.....no...sonar doesn't need a curve....it's medium based.....so it will go through the water....that wave is tiny and you honestly think there is a smooth curve at the bottom of the ocean??? Foolishness I say. It's bumpy as fuck....so any curve will be shadowed by other things....duh
...
.
Like all things, this take everything out of context and presents flaws.
That diagram is not referring to a 'near' sun....nor 'flat earth'....
The models make a point of stating their assumptions....which....if you were a scientist and engineer would need
