I'm pretty sure they'd take the win if they can score it. There have been a lot of retards pushing for it on controlled media.
Most people will eat bugs getting pulverized and sneaked into organic food snacks and mystery putties. There is a bit of distraction in these articles. They walk past the deep fried crickets and straight into the cricket flavored popcorn.
I think the goal might be to normalize lab-grown beef. Lets get crazy with theorizing. There has been a theory for awhile out there that the end goal is lab-grown (human?) meat that gets injected with nutrients based on cost. The dream is to buy a slab of meat (?) that has 0 nutritional value until you pay for it to get artificially injected with synthetic nutrition (aka. poison).
Theory has merit because the articles about it never make any effort to make it look remotely appealing. It's like if someone was trying to pitch the idea of eating chicken by using photos of people very reluctantly preparing to bite down a raw dead chicken.
I remember somewhere when i was a kid seeing cricket pizza. Can't remember where but maybe a leg got caught in someones throat? It was a movie or TV show or something.
