This picture is pathetic, and if you believe this is proof you should be ashamed of yourself. How about some surveys........GIS stuff, anything with some real merit....this is something an elementary student would choose as evidence.
That is not true though either. It would cut a plane across the view based on location on the earth. That would partially overlap on a large part of the spherical globe on each hemisphere. In the winter the stars would be shifted and on the opposite side from the winter, but only a portion would be completely different on the edges of the cut and would vary at times of the year.
It would be at the equator that would have the most variations between views, but likewise, you would have some that are still similar. Nearest the poles.
