If there is war, etc then that position will pay off big time. In the long run though, the best tech companies thrive after a huge negative economic impact. Case in point, apple after the 2008 RE crisis.

Why do you think they call Tesla the Apple of cars? Apple had the iphone, tesla has Teslas... the demand for teslas is mind blowing right now. It will be gigantic after the smoke clears.
