Yes it’s a psychological operation but it’s part of the gradual disclosure operation.
The show presents vast quantities of evidence that aliens interacted with humans and assisted them at times. However, the show then make several outrageous conclusions that don’t follow from the limited evidence, i.e., ”I’m not saying it’s aliens, but it’s aliens” meme.
So the show presents enough good evidence that the average person could use to reach the conclusion that there was an alien presence in the past but then because of the shows misinterpretations, faulty logic, Shakey conclusions, etc.; the average viewer can then go ahead and discredit everything they just saw.
The show sends out mixed messages because it is designed to assist in gradual disclosure process. At first, most people ridiculed the “ancient aliens” show partly due to the weird hosts on the show. However, now we see that credible sources in the Pentagon are coming out and admitting that UFOs are real and need to be investigated.
When authorities finally come out and admit that aliens have been visiting the earth for thousands or millions of years, all those people who used to watch ancient aliens and ridicule it will say “Oh yeah, I knew all about that already, I heard all that evidence so I’m not shocked.”
The point of this process is to gradually get people used to the idea of alien intervention in human history so that they don’t go into massive culture shock when the authorities finally reveal the truth.
The original poster being disillusioned with some of their sloppy academic work is part of the process. Giving people the truth but then temporarily discrediting that truth does help prepare people to eventually be exposed to the shocking truth.
Someone very close to you goes to the hospital and is diagnosed with terminal cancer. The doctors give them three months to live. He/She immediately tell friends and family the bad news. However, with a good diet, medical care and support that person actually ends up living another three years.
When they die after three years, are you in shock? Not really, in fact you’re grateful that you knew the truth and that they got three additional years to live. You’re especially grateful because you got to tell them how you felt about them and prepare for their death.
When we think about it we realize that doctors were wrong about how long the patient would live but they were right about the cancer. But you’re not really upset about that.
A week later a second different person close to you has a brain aneurysm which causes a massive brain bleed and within seconds they’re dead.
Are you in shock? Yes, and you’re gonna have a lot of difficulty dealing with their death because you never really got a chance to tell them how you felt about them. You weren’t given the opportunity to gradually get used to the idea that they were going to die.
Do you see the difference? Neither case is great but I would much rather be able to prepare for the death of someone that I loved. Yes of course watching them suffer at all would be painful. However, seeing them finally released from that suffering would also soften the blow of their ultimate death.
If you still don’t understand the difference, go look up the concept of culture shock and consider the worst cases of culture shock. The worst cases are when a primitive group of people suddenly encounter a technologically advanced people for the first time with no warning. These primitive people may have never even known that technologically advanced people existed. Meeting advanced peoples often destroys the physical and mental health of primitive peoples.
When people with advanced technology encounter people who are primitive, they are less shocked. They’ve either read about those primitive people in books or maybe they saw documentaries about those people on television.
The ancient aliens show has been wrong about much of the evidence that they present but that doesn’t eliminate the mountain of credible evidence for the presense of alien entities on earth.
You can’t hand wave away the unidentified flying objects that have been messing with US military forces for the past 50 years. And the US has been one of the most secretive countries about the existence of UFOs. Other countries like Chile or France are much more open about it.
We are gonna have to get used to this idea of the alien presence on Earth.
Ancient Aliens did us all a favor in preparing us for disclosure day
there is zero credible evidence for aliens. no physical remains of tech, no physical remains of organics, nothing. All there is lights in the sky called atmospheric phenomenon and sci fiction sold as real life.
Aliens has become the go to explain away modern day mysteries. Strange electro magnetic phenomenon in the atmosphere.. muh aliens, TPTB muh aliens, megalithic structures ..muh aliens.. human orgins.. must be aliens.
You seem to have no awareness of what’s going on with the US military these days and how they’re admitting that they can’t explain the presence of mysterious Flying aircraft that outperform the best US fighter jets.
Did you even know that the New York Times has been publishing interviews with Pentagon insiders and Navy pilots who witness these craft frequently? Did you even know that Navy optical equipment and radar tracking equipment verify the craft that the pilots are tracking?
Do you think it’s Chinese drones that are outperforming billion dollar American fighter planes? I live and work in China and I teach at one of the top universities of technology in China. I can tell you right now they’re not capable of significantly producing advanced flight technology on their own. Most of the Chinese planes are copies of Russian fighter planes. Do you think it’s Russia tech? If the Russian military technology is so advanced why didn’t they win Ukrainian war in 10 days.
If you have NO awareness of these FACTS, you’re an uninformed moron.
If you think US fighter pilots and radar technicians are lying about these craft you’re a socially retarded dimwit.
Did you know that Harvard is running a nationwide program to encourage astronomical observatories to observe the local sky for these technologically advanced craft. The head of the program is a Avi Loeb, the head of Harvard’s astronomy program. It’s not a conspiracy theory and they actually have a webpage. Yeah I looked it up for you because you’re too dumb to know how to use a search page, right?

how does purposefully making outlandish, silly and lazy claims about ancient aliens make it easier to accept alien intervention in the long run?
how does easily debunked claims reinforce anything?

its silly and lazy with no creditability.

Or did I just whip up a fake webpage and hack it onto the Harvard University servers.
I’ll let you figure that one out, Sherlock.
