The truth is....the internet is only as good at the people using it.
Its a system of exchange and that means supply and demand....
If everyone decides to stay on a neutered internet they won't offer much value but they obviously have no demands either, so little supply will work.....
But people like us tend to want more from the quality of the topics and content. Sadly they don't want us to communicate...so they will gladly take away the value from our demands and ignore us.
So we go and make our own ...and have nothing but echo chambers like this site is becoming rapidly....
Open channels without control are the only way ...and that is just not becoming a possibility anymore.
I am not sure what the answer to this problem is.
