When i was a child i used to think it was strange that whenever i was sad or troubled it would seem to be cloudy/overcast and when i felt happy the weather would always be nice and the days brighter.
It was as if my emotional state was affecting the weather, or thats the way it seemd to younger me.
Now, i told my mom this and she would laugh, saying "you're only feeling sad because its raining and you cant go outside to play with your friends."
but ya know, when i discovered the idea of thought and feeling manifesting into reality i really started to look back at those times very differently.
Since 9/11 everything kind of changed now i think back on it.
I have a similar thought-habit. If I feel like shit (usually the kind that results from lack of sleep), I'm convinced the entire world feels the same; if I feel great, I'm just as convinced the whole world (all life) feels great. Everything is perceived through that background mental state. Even with this knowledge, I still experience it as described.

Ask yourself if the one perceiving represents the center of all perceivable? Afterwards allow yourself to question if you represent the choice at the center of a balance (need/want) based system?

Thanks for reminding me of this.
