There are many “maps” like this, purportedly showing land that is not on our maps. One of the earliest I have seen was published in a newspaper around the turn of the 20th century. It was supposedly from a monastery in japan (as I recall), attributed to the brother of a reasonably well known physician at the time.
As for the true origin of this particular one, your guess is as good as mine.
I'm certainly not a flat earther,
Good. Neither am I, however I do study them and have found the subject extremely rewarding.
but I do have to wonder if there any substance to this?
Let’s say there was... hypothetically. What would/should/could you (or I, or us!) do about it? How could we validate/verify such a purported “map”?
Please provide where you got info from so i have something to study.
If you have any interest in the subject i highly recommend having a discussion about the subject first before you rush off “studying” willy nilly. I can basically assure you that you will benefit from the discussion as long as you’re earnest.
Please (and this goes for anyone else who has an interest in the subject - for, against, neutral) join us on the community I created specifically for its further study! Click my username and find the link, or let me know and I will pm it to you!
It has a small amount of content, that’s true... But it will have more if you join us for a discussion about this topic!
I've read it all before
Wow! I’m impressed.
However, it is a community for discussion, questions, and exchange. It isn’t meant for just “browsing” or “reading”/“consuming” - it’s meant to engage with!
It’s also to discuss, share, and refine our research approaches. You asked for “something to study”, and such things are well worth discussing further!
