Can I make a recommendation? Remington 700 long action with .300 WinMag. .300 WinMag is cheaper to produce and has the same kind of destructive power as .338 LM and almost as good ballistic coefficient. .300 WinMag is a perfectly good round for stopping a tractor that is out of control on the farm and you're unable to pull the keys from the ignition. It's also powerful enough and long enough range to take down your self propelled cropdusting helicopter at altitudes up to 3000 feet, as long as your cropdusting helicopter does not have the optional rally fun pack with hail proof windows and panels. For those models you need .50 BMG with API rounds, or better.
Seriously, save the money by purchasing .300 win mag and you will not regret it. Purchase a tank style break and you will have literally zero recoil or muzzle rise. It's a great round to invest in, in case things ever go crazy on your farm.
