I do believe EVERY Sherriff in the USA owes their communities a public statement on their departments policy for a active school shooter. ASAP

I think the Supreme Court already established that Cops do not have a legal obligation to intervene.

If they do not have a 'special relationship', such as being assigned to guard someone, then they are not guilty of a federal crime for not protecting them. However, there could be state law or it could be a violation of contract for which they could be sued.
But law enforcement is given training exactly opposite of what we saw, yet yall are here arguing that theres some law that says law enforcement gets to sit back and watch people murdered? Yall are sounding like the fucking glowies around here
