Exactly! they would be citing resources to support their claims, like news articles written by the left, so they can't deny it.

remember when shooting would happened and CNN would say they're not gonna show the shooter and give rise to copy/cats?

It's also strange that on the complete opposite side of the country another mass shooting happened the following day.
