Some big nose can probably break down a cost analysis. If you can jam enough jews into a small airtight enclosure and just run a diesel engine for carbon monoxide (think like how retards kill themselves in garage with a running car) I'd think its possible to get more cost efficient than bullets. (Also the bodies would not be poisonous) More importantly, it would also be less mental toll on the German soldiers. Soldiers should be more comfortable gassing (out of sight) instead of shooting unarmed women/children.
I'd assume some German scientists/soldiers tried it out as a trial maybe just in vans for like 60 jews and the strong Jews still survived. But then Jews exaggerated about it and claimed other types of gas (maybe even Germans lied too to scare their prisoners into compliance). There should be a better TLDR video that breaks it down.
