I'll acknowledge that Christianity isn't supposed to be a cake walk and that generally wealth makes it more difficult due to temptation for greed and misuse of power. But, it's not wrong to be wealthy. God encourages stewardship. There's also reason to believe that Christianity will cause prosperity partially because, well, it has. And we can attribute this to the rule of law mediating the conflicts that would have caused distruction of wealth, for example.
They only preach about love because if they peached on anything convicting they would lose 90% of the audience. The 10% which won't leave don't listen anyways.
