Nitpicking but i think TPTB see it more as eugenics (reducing the boomer diabetes population) and getting to test out mRNA tech. Some kids dying is just collateral damage and needed for vax liability, but not the main goal. Although it could be just chance/natural their lab virus didn't target kids.
