Violence is a failure of intelligence. If the only solution you can find to a problem is violence, then keep looking because there is always a non-violent solution that you missed.

Surrender is your other option. Just be the slave they want you to be, and no violence will be required. But your failure to appreciate how fundamental violence is to life and survival on this planet will leave you perpetually confused when looking at our society.
