History repeats itself:
"I remember saying once to Arthur Koestler, ‘History stopped in 1936’, at which he nodded in immediate understanding. We were both thinking of totalitarianism in general, but more particularly of the Spanish civil war. Early in life I have noticed that no event is ever correctly reported in a newspaper, but in Spain, for the first time, I saw newspaper reports which did not bear any relation to the facts, not even the relationship which is implied in an ordinary lie. I saw great battles reported where there had been no fighting, and complete silence where hundreds of men had been killed. I saw troops who had fought bravely denounced as cowards and traitors, and others who had never seen a shot fired hailed as the heroes of imaginary victories; and I saw newspapers in London retailing these lies and eager intellectuals building emotional superstructures over events that had never happened. I saw, in fact, history being written not in terms of what happened but of what ought to have happened according to various ‘party lines’."
It’s ironic because Arthur Koestler actively participated in this. He wrote Ghost in the Machine, an early transhumanist technocratic blueprint. He advised and advocated for some of the worst things we see beginning to be actualized today.
That's like blaming Samuel Colt for the shit niggers are doing today.
No it’s not, colt didn’t run society wide propaganda encouraging and coercing black on black violence or they’d get fired from their non existent jobs
is it really his fault, he was writing about what the elites already knew and used. Same with orwell he wrote 1984, is it his fault the elites now control our lives just like in that novel, no they would have anyway. In some ways an author writing about it and warning us gave us a chance of course we didn't heed the warning.
Arthur Koestler wasn’t warning he was cheerleading and actively planning. You can argue about Orwell but if you’re trying to use the same argument for Koestler you’re likely just uninformed.
disagree I read it and it wasn't like that but I'm guessing you didn't read it.
So you think his advocating RNA manipulation and attending mind control conferences was purely for the benefit of society?
