Pole reversal is likely one of the key reasons for all the deep underground bases. I think that over a half century ago they realized it is cyclical and inevitable, so they made plans for human survival deep enough to outlive the increased surface radiation from space once the field temporarily drops to zero. Unfortunately they ran into the real underground dwellers at Dulce NM but after that, somehow patched things up.

I kind of have to laugh because everything the elite are fighting to take over will get hammered. But they will survive underground, and we know they have deep transport systems between locations like Denver airport under which there is a big D.U.M.B.
