I guess, once you have a lot of money, you get an asshole upgrade to Level 100. I can't think of any super wealthy person who isn't a total bastard except maybe Warren Buffet. I guess it comes from the fact that to become filthy rich you have to dispose of all morals and ethics.
Yeah, there's a lot to that. Zuck would never have made it without outside guidance and favors. Bezos is certainly another one such. Gates climbed partway by himself but then they stepped in and made a deal. As for Wall Street wealthy, lots of unholy alliances, Goldman Sachs does things in partnership with the ones behind the Fed and various people get rich.
