Kyiv Kyiv Kyiv I see it everywhere, where the fuck did this come from? My whole life the spelling was always Kiev. I am in my late 30's and have always had an interest in both geography and history.
My guess is it is so when people google it they automatically get "approved sources" with the new spelling, and anything with the spelling I am more familiar with will be deemed old fashioned. I imagine this is not the first time they've tried something like this. Am I the only one that is driven mad by this sudden new spelling?
Kyiv Ukrainian, Kiev Russian.
I think they chose Kyiv after the former Soviet Block broke up, where it was formerly called chicken, no, I meant Kiev.
I think it became a narrative after the coup where it hit the sources and textbooks changing, perhaps now even drawing ire.
Bruh, get out of here with the logic.
Somebody must have posed this question on facebook as a meme or text on a solid colored background, which made someone get sight tingles which means there is something nefarious going on. Trust the boomers, they got us here so their style behavior will definitely set us free
But I like the Chicken. I can't spell Kyvi.
No seriously. I gave you the history.
jews are responsible for this, not boomers
