I called this. These planes are common, especially in capitals, since these vassal states provide them their resources. Short of seeing troops walk off the plane or evidence on the ground that they're UN, hard to reliably connect the dots.
This particular plane is a shorter range RJ jet. This particular one was spotted in North Bay which is a significant distance from Ottawa. I would think if they were flying in UN stormtroopers they would just fly them regular commercial direct to Ottawa.
Also we see these UN painted planes at regional and remote airports all the time. It's not that unusual. I don't think there's much legs to the plane story.

I think if you zoom in on the shoulders in the shirtless gut guy photo you can make out a Quebec insignia.
I'm going to actually side with this article.. UN planes have been spotted for years and years for maintenance etc at this location.
