There has been a convergence of events that have made me believe that they are planning a fake global hemorrhagic fever outbreak next, and they've been priming us to preempt our otherwise-inevitable resistance to that narrative.

I, myself, back on Voat, was promoting the idead that such a virus was "what''s coming next", and only now am I beginning to realize that we are being used to prime our friends and families and internet peers that such a thing is on the way, so that, when the narrative shows up, A) ordinary folks will be primed to believe it, and B) and folks like me (us?) will be like "see!!!", instead of saying "bullshit this is fake!!! Don't fall for it!!!".

@MrExReturns is right, that situation, when it arrives, is what they'll use to lock us down for the rest of the decade. Make sure you've got lots of shelf stable food / jugs of water / Sawyer Squeeze (or similar) water filters, ferro rod, and other basic long-term grid-is-down-and-ain't-coming-back-ever necessities.
