I've accepted that: Our government is corrupt. Out elections are rigged. My vote is meaningless. The US I grew up in no longer exists. We're on the not so long march to tyranny. Things are going to get a lot worse before they're going to get better. The better isn't going to be in my life time.
Trump mismanaged his 1st term Presidency. He went in like a naive child who believed the propaganda and thought the peaceful transfer of power meant that he could just kick out the carpetbaggers from fleecing and selling out the American people and they were going to throw their hands up, say "fair is fair" and do nothing. He failed to prosecute his political enemies keeping them off balance because he was too afraid to fire Comey, who as it turns out was his political enemy's lap dog and has been for decades. Instead, they turned on him Trump's own political investigative apparatus, the FBI. Not that it mattered with Sleepy Sessions, Trump's Department of Justice Attorney General appointee, at the helm of the President's political prosecution apparatus. Sessions blatantly refused to prosecute Trump's political enemies on what evidence there was. Trump surrounded himself with shysters, grifters and disloyal deep-statists. He squandered his chance to rally the people in his support and instead is the reason some of them are languishing in prison at this very moment. He didn't even get the keystone of his domestic policy accomplished; building the wall. He could have twisted the knife in the backs of the deep state on his way out by pardoning Assange and Snowden, but instead was too interested in pardoning murdering and rapey rappers. And like icing on the cake of failures Trump continues to push the vax which is the embodiment of a global corpo-government conspiracy to defraud the peoples of the western world of their monies and to trample their civil rights.
Trump had my support. He doesn't any longer. His failures are too numerous to count at this point.
